Stark choice

After the referendum the UK government faced a stark choice. Either they accepted the will of the people as had been promised or tried to go against the decision risking a serious chance of civil war.

Democracy is a dangerous and powerful force and it was this that the leaders in Brussels failed to appreciate when David Cameron asked for reforms that would have benefited every citizen of Europe.

If one wants to look for blame. The many crises in EU culminating in Brexit can all be laid at the door of The EU Commission.
